In conjunction with the Store Manager, this role is responsible for hiring and developing a team of highly motivated individuals who are passionate about cannabis, compliant with state and local rules and regulations, and have a drive for success regarding goals and initiatives.
As our Retail team is the heartbeat of our operations, we leverage a profit sharing structure to make this among the most lucrative of offerings in the industry to date.
Priorities include the implementation of dispensary policies, oversight, and management of quality product inventory.
The Assistant General Manager collaborates with the GM and leadership team to develop, document, and implement practices, policies, and strategies that support a performance and results-driven culture.
The AGM is also responsible for assisting marketing, promotions and the maintenance of reports as they pertain to the daily operations and finances of the dispensary.

In this role, you will Drive Key Performance Indicators in line with the company objective and goals for sales and service Ensure the dispensary's compliance with security, inventory and local and state regulations Manage and inspire internal staff to deliver the highest level of customer service Ensure the safety and satisfaction of every customer and employee Responsible for providing a high level of education and development for staff pertaining to cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates and consumption mechanisms Protect patient rights by overseeing the employee HIPAA education program and ensure each employee is maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of protected health information and financial information.
Create budgets and forecast sales based on principles of retail business and experience Maintain awareness of both external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for improvement, and industry development.
Work closely with Inventory team to procure an adequate supply of quality products Fulfill staffing needs and coordinate scheduling Communicate with and coach staff on a regular basis to ensure the dispensary's excellence in service and labor practices within the community Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents relating to dispensary performance, general business periodicals, professional journals, safety, security and technical procedures, and governmental regulations Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals Develop operations plans and implement and manage dispensary policies and procedures Document financial, Inventory and customer trends; maintain sales and purchasing reports Manage and maintain dispensary sales and inventory management software Ensure 100% traceability is maintained on the product from reception to sale to customer.

Bachelor's degree in Business or related experience Experience in a retail management environment Excellent customer communication and service skills Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills Passion for serving the Missouri cannabis community Strong accounting, math and computer skills Prior experience within the medical cannabis community and/or health and wellness industries is a plus Must be at least 21 years of age and be able to pass a background check.
Must be eligible to obtain any necessary state and industry specific worker's permit(s).
