CMM PROGRAMMER/OPERATOR
This company makes aviation parts.
Location: Patmos Court, Saint Peters, MO
Our quality department is seeking qualified individuals with:
experience inspecting machined/fabricated metal parts and assemblies with a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and Portable Coordinate Measuring Machine (PCMM)
Applicants need to possess skills to meet the tasks as listed
The position currently available is for first shift (7AM to 3:30PM overtime optional) with opportunities to work other shifts
Successful candidate:
will work under minimal supervision
must possess superior math skills with a working understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T),
excellent computer, deductive reasoning and communication skills
Skills:
Minimum three years previous experience operating and editing PC-DMIS programs
Must have previous experience reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings and CAD models
Training and experience in the use of PC-DMIS both machine and offline
Understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
Able to set and use standard precision inspection tools
Able to operate and care for both stationary CMMs and PCMMs
Able to program CMM with or without a CAD model both at the machine and offline
Familiar with Windows-based file structure and Microsoft applications
Superior math skills
Responsibilities:
Inspect machined details fabricated of various materials from CNC machines
Verify in-process operations
Perform and document first article inspections (as required)
Responsible for maintaining a timely flow of parts thru the first partEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
